Dubstep SF continues to point the spotlight at one of our talented producers Dean Frame, well known as half of the hot bass music band "Intent To Sell", a collaboration with well-established lyricist and song writer Sean Panier better known as BoBiz. Now Dean focuses some time on his own broken beat musical production solo project "Dooby". Delivering six fresh jams spanning all styles of Bass. This hot new EP titled "Hybrid" seeks to create a bridge to all his favorite dance music flavors. Coming out of the Bay Area, Dooby has been spinning beats since the summer of 2005. He started off playing on vinyl at house parties in high school, and moved on up to open up for big name dj's such as: Felix Da Housecat, Steve Smooth, Barry Weaver, & Drop the Lime to name a few. 2011-2013 Not to long ago Dooby was living down in southern California while playing for such weekly's like Merge and Control at Avalon and also started a weekly event at Heat night ultra-lounge across the street from Disneyland. 2015- Beyond, Dooby used to always be out on the road playing shows left and right, But now he feels lucky enough to stay home and raise his son and still manage to sneak in the studio 6 hrs a day while also working a part time as a delivery driver. "I'm from Calistona!!!" as Dooby refers to Calistoga CA. Not born in Calistoga though, just had the best few years of his life living there. He produces music using Logic Pro x, Reason 5 and Ableton live. Lately Dooby has been making beats very far from the cookie cutter shell, forming some new boundaries of his and still seeking his personal sound. Dooby looks at his music and programs as a diary. Whatever he feels that day in time is how the track will start out, and looking back on that track, remembers all the good and bad times he's gone through". Dean Frame's musical background includes everything from playing the bass guitar and drums in jazz band to playing in many different kinds of underground local bands, ranging music from surf, punk, ska to metal. He started playing records at house parties in the summer of 05 and started playing D&B and hip hop records as well. By 2007 he found his bliss playing all styles of Bass Music and Dubstep.
